راولپنڈی:چیف آف آرمی اسٹاف اور چیف آف ڈیفنس فورسز فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر نے سپیشل سروسز گروپ (SSG) کے ہیڈکوارٹرز تربیلا کا اہم دورہ کیا۔ ہیڈکوارٹرز پہنچنے پر جنرل آفیسر کمانڈنگ (GOC) ایس ایس جی نے ان کا پرتپاک استقبال کیا۔

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (COAS & CDF) of Pakistan, visited Headquarters Special Services Group (SSG), Tarbela, today. On arrival, he was received by the GOC SSG.
The COAS & CDF laid floral wreath at the Shuhada Monument and offered Fateha, paying tribute to SSG personnel who embraced martyrdom in defence of the motherland.
He was briefed on SSG’s specialised training, operational preparedness and mission-oriented readiness. He also witnessed a display of state-of-the-art specialised equipment and a demonstration showcasing SSG’s combat proficiency, agility and precision in executing special operations.
Interacting with officers and troops, the COAS & CDF commended their professionalism, high morale and unwavering devotion to duty. He emphasised that sustained training, indigenous capability development and an uncompromising focus on operational preparedness are essential to maintaining an edge over evolving security threats and emerging challenges.

پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (ISPR) کے مطابق فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر نے یادگارِ شہدا پر حاضری دی، پھولوں کی چادر چڑھائی اور فاتحہ خوانی کی۔ انہوں نے وطنِ عزیز کے دفاع میں اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کرنے والے ایس ایس جی کے جری اہلکاروں کی قربانیوں کو زبردست خراجِ عقیدت پیش کیا۔ دورے کے دوران فیلڈ مارشل کو ایس ایس جی کی خصوصی تربیت، آپریشنل تیاریوں اور جنگی مشنز کی انجام دہی سے متعلق بریفنگ دی گئی۔ آرمی چیف نے جدید ترین آلات کے مظاہرے سمیت ایس ایس جی جوانوں کے خصوصی آپریشنز میں عملی مظاہروں، جنگی مہارت اور پھرتی کا جائزہ لیا۔
افسران اور جوانوں سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر نے ان کی اعلیٰ پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیتوں، بے مثال حوصلے اور فرض سے غیر متزلزل وابستگی کی تعریف کی۔ انہوں نے زور دے کر کہا کہ جدید دور کے بدلتے ہوئے سکیورٹی خطرات اور نئے چیلنجز سے نمٹنے کے لیے مسلسل تربیت، مقامی سطح پر تزویراتی صلاحیتوں کو فروغ دینے اور آپریشنل تیاریوں پر غیر سمجھوتہ کن توجہ کی ضرورت ہے۔
